This is a song that I first heard and sang in Greek more than 20 years ago. A couple of years later I was happy to hear it in English.
A couple of weeks ago a dear brother and I compiled lyrics in Hebrew from the Tanach and the New Testament.
I have been playing the bouzouki since I was eleven years old, so naturally, the bouzouki is the lead instrument in the worship songs that I produce.
Technical and Musical Stuff
Here you can hear three part harmony on acoustic bouzouki, an additional first voice on my five string electronic bouzouki and string parts on my five string electronic bouzouki through the Roland GK3 Midi pick up and the Boss GP 10 guitar synth and midi processor. You can also hear a rhythm accompaniment on classical guitar. In the background you can hear a syncopated accompaniment on the Greek baglama-miniature bouzouki. All other parts-piano, bass, drums and percussion-are played on my electric piano as midi parts into Logic Pro X.
