נִזְבַּח שֵׂה הַפֶּסַח שֶׁלָּנוּ – הַמָּשִׁיחַ

6Όλoι εμείς πλανηθήκαμε σαν πρόβατα· στραφήκαμε κάθε ένας στoν δικό του δρόμo· o Kύριoς, όμως, έβαλε επάνω σ’ αυτόν την ανoμία όλων μας.

This evening, Wednesday April 5th 2023, the 14th of the Hebrew month Nisan, we celebrated the Jewish Passover (Pesach) and the week of unleavened bread commences.

All families gather together for the Passover Supper, during which we read from the Haggadah.
Στο Πασχαλινό τραπέζι διαβάζουμε από το Αγκαντά, το μικρό βιβλιαράκι στο οποίο διηγείται η ιστορία της λύτρωσης από την σκλαβιά της Αιγύπτου.
The Haggadah, which means “telling” in Hebrew, is a booklet which contains the text which lays out the order of the Passover dinner which commemorates the Exodus from Egypt from bondage to freedom.
Αγκαντά σημαίνει διήγησης στα Εβραϊκά.
Στο Αγκαντά έχει ευλογίες και ιστορίες από Ραβίνους για την Έξοδο και Πασχαλινούς Ύμνους οι οποίοι μιλάνε για την Έξοδο από τη σκλαβιά της Αιγύπτου.
The Haggadah contains blessings and Rabbinic stories and Passover hymns which celebrate the liberation from bondage in Egypt.
Σαν γιορτάζουμε όλοι το Πάσχα ας ζητήσουμε από τον Κύριο να μας ανοίξει δρόμο και να μας δώσει κουράγιο να μιλήσουμε για τον Αμνό Του Θεού που μας λύτρωσε με το Αίμα του από τα δεσμά της αμαρτίας.
As we celebrated Passover and the Resurrection of our Lord Jesus let us pray that He may give us opportunities to speak of the Lamb of God Who liberated us from the bondage of sin with His Blood.
